We have two properties near the Sequoia National Park where you can visit the GIant redwoods and hike amongst the breathtaking views. Summer swimming holes are unmatched and winter sledding memories are unforgettable.

City

We are located in or near two cities: San Luis Obispo and Visalia. Both have historic downtowns, friendly residents, great restaurants and nightlife and impressive farmer's markets.

Sea

Los Osos is a hidden gem tucked between Montana De Oro State Park and Morro Bay State Park. Outdoor activities are endless in this laid back little patch of paradise.

HIGHWAY 1

The stretch of highway between San Simeon and Ragged Point is some of the most picturesque in the world. The roadway follows where the majestic Santa Lucia Mountains meet the Pacific Ocean, with jaw-dropping views around every twist and turn. As you drive, plenty of turnoffs offer moments for taking in the region’s grandeur.
MONTAÑA DE ORO

If you want a hike or nature walk with a view there is better place. Spooner's cove and Sandspit are great beaches that feel tucked away in nature.
CAL POLY

The downtown can get busy especially after 10pm so retreating to our houses in Los Osos is a great option for parents looking for a more laid back visit.
SCOOTER RENTALS

Scooters are available at Live Los Osos and you can download the Lattis app from the app store. They cost $0.20 a minute. We provide locks and helmets. We are not responsible for any injury or accidents that occur from scooter riding.
BAYWOOD PARK

Baywood is a magical small strip of a few great restaurants, amazing sunsets, and great beer and wine. Check out the Market at High St Deli and grab a sandwich that will blow your mind. Visit our Farmer's Market on Mondays from 2-4:30 for some of the best baguettes, fruit, cheese, and pie you have ever had. Beerwood and the Merrymaker are great options for drinks and the corner market has the essentials for your stay!

LIVE MUSIC

Go see live music at the Old Ale House on LOVR or at the Golf Course during their summer series on the green.
MORRO BAY

Rent a kayak or stand up paddle board in Morro Bay and explore the bay we call home
ELFIN FOREST

Walk the elfin forest, a historical nature preserve that looks over the entire bay. It's a short walk from the guest house and a great place to get some pictures.
LIVE LIKE A LOCAL

Visit the Monday farmers market. Walk from the house to the bay and enjoy the music, food, and community. Take it home for a BBQ or sit around the firepit and soak up the stars.
SPOONERS COVE

Visit Spooners cove, have a picnic on the beach, and walk the bluff for breathtaking views. walks and hikes range in difficulty. We are happy to suggest some.

EAT UP

A small town that does eating right. The downtown has so many restaurants that are amazing including a few award-winning spots like the Elderwood or the Vintage Press.
BROWSE LOCAL

Visit the Thursday farmer's market in the lettuce bowl of California. Fresh produce you have to taste to believe. Stop by a brewery or wine bar afterward to complete the grocery list!
BOTANICAL GARDENS

Take a drive to Threerivers, stop in Woodlake at the botanical gardens on the way. Have dinner at Old Buckaroo on the river and Rehimers for ice cream and candy gifts to take home.
